A traditional exterior. A modern interior. This home is designed for today's small family or empty nesters. As you approach, your eye focuses on the front porch with its classic columns and railing line, reminiscent of the past yet timeless in styling. Large, well-placed windows and transoms beckon the outdoors inside. The wide front and rear covered porches create plenty of space for outdoor living and entertaining.
Step inside to the foyer and you will appreciate both the elements of an open floor plan -- but not too open -- plus a family-efficient traffic flow. To your left is the dining room with its graceful arches along with a furniture niche with a barrel vault ceiling. Straight ahead the gallery acts as a wonderful space that also connects both sides of the home with the great room. The kitchen is only steps away and boasts a peninsula, a prep island, and a breakfast nook.
There are a total of four bedrooms although the fourth bedroom could easily be converted to a study. Bedroom #2 and #3 share a jack-and-jill bathroom. On the other side of the home is the master suite. The master bedroom has its own access to the rear porch. There are also his-and-her walk-in closets. The master bath includes separate his-and-her sink vanities, a water closet, a large soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.
Other special features include a separate full bath that also has access to the rear porch - ideal if you have a swimming pool.
Each plan set includes the following:
- FLOOR PLAN: Showing all dimensions, window and door locations, laminated beams, columns, floor materials, ceiling heights, fireplace size, and specifications.
- FOUNDATION PLAN: Dimensioned plan detailing the location and size of footings, slabs, reinforcing steel, and other structural elements that are required to support the load of the upper floors.
- ROOF PLAN: Dimensioned plan showing the elements that make up the roof, including notation of spacing and schematics of peaks and valleys.
- ELECTRICAL LAYOUT: Specifications, notes, schedules, and plan defining the location of panels, service, lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, fans, etc. NOTE – PLEASE VERIFY
- FRONT, REAR, AND SIDE ELEVATIONS: The front, rear, and side elevations of the house as drawn. Shows placement of doors & windows on exterior of house, as well as roof pitches, ridge heights, and locations of chimney, exterior vents, etc. The elevations show the positioning of the final grade of the lot, exterior finishes, and other details that are necessary to give the home exterior architectural styling.
- CROSS SECTIONS AND INTERIOR DETAILS: Explain certain special conditions more appropriately. A cross section is basically a view of the home (or parts of the home) if it were sliced down the center. These details can be helpful for the contractor. Includes wall section and cabinet elevations.
