This lovely Colonial style home plan with Country influences (House Plan #137-1316) has 1428 square feet of living space. The 2 story floor plan includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and 1 half bath.
The charming gambrel-roofed Colonial cottage is reminiscent of the simple houses built and occupied by seafarers on Cape Ann, Massachusetts, in the 17th and 18th Centuries. This adaptation offers a new twist with expandable areas (a dining room, study and garage). The basic plan provides fine livability for the small family. The spacious country kitchen allows for plenty of dining area. The efficient work center is but a few steps from the sliding glass doors to the rear terrace.
